Wed, July 6, 2005 - 10:41 PMIf you ask me, still too disco, other than the Lenny Kravitz/Curtis Mayfield styled opening track. Not even close to the original funk/jazz quality of the first two albums.
I'm glad I heard it before buying.

Re: Jamiroquai - Dynamite
Mon, July 25, 2005 - 5:00 AMHHHMmmm - big Jamiroquai fan here.....as for the new offering.....I was sooooo wanting to love it...but it just doesnt 'Do It' for me in full. A couple of the tracks 'Feels Just Like It Should' & 'Seven Days In Sunny June'
I think JK and the band have sooooo much more to offer, for me 'Emergency On Planet Earth' was JK's pinnacle, what a fantastic album and released at a time when the music scene here in the UK was looking for some inspiration.
Seems to have started with trying to save the world (EMERGENCY ON PLANET EARTH) ....got rich off it then bought a loada fast cars, tried the tired Disco thang and erm yeah.....here we are at DYNAMITE. So much more to offer man - collaborations is the way forward!!! Viva JK!!! -
