Mon, June 28, 2004 - 10:23 AMwell i approached the bar looking for a Newcastle and i saw the red and blue in bottles, 11oz size. This was a first for me cuz i only see them in 22oz sizes at stores. I told my buddy to 4get Newcastle cuz "I"M HAVING FISH TONIIIIGHT!!!!"
So we order a Red, love it and then find out the have the White on tap. I heard White is the only one Chimay makes for tap. The called it Chimay Blonde for some reason. Then we finished with the blue to round out the trifecta. I think what got us faded was the progression of alco. content since it was red (7%) white (8%) then blue (9%)..... real patriotic! -

blonde is often a way of referring to a lighter beer--coloration and all...
newcastle's dope, but i prefer chimay when poss... -
