fri: jason moran & the bandwagon and kosmic renaissance (featuring triber sameer gupta on tabla/drums) stand out.

sat: the bad plus (i'm not crazy about their album, but it's FREE) and MARK DE CLIVE-LOWE in his only u.s. performance w/band (he's been dj'ing everywhere else--can you tell i like him?)

the openers on both days also look good, but i think they're local folks...
